Event This Sunday

I attended a wonderful press preview last evening at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown for an event that I wanted all of you locals to know about. The event will take place this Sunday at the Four Seasons Hotel at 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20007.

The Children's Health Board and Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC invite you to Light Up the Season in support of Children’s National on Sunday, December 3rd.

Light Up the Season is a family-friendly community fundraising event featuring designer-decorated holiday trees, menorahs, mantle pieces, and wreaths.  Each original piece is a unique collaboration between a patient of Children’s National and a notable area designer. The holiday decor will be on display throughout the hotel's public space November 28-December 20 and available to purchase until December 3 at the event.

The afternoon will include activities for all ages—holiday cookie decorating, ornament making, and visits from Santa and Dr. Bear.  Light fare and holiday libations will add to the festivities, as will musical performances by local artists and youth entertainers.  Guests are also invited to explore and participate in a silent auction featuring child/family retail items and unique experiences.

  2. I have that identical silver vintage true, the musical revolving stand, and the revolving changing lights.

What a great looking Santa that was, and you looked so cute in your stripes.
