Putting Chinoiserie on a Pedestal

Everywhere I look ginger jars are being put on pedestals - literally! I love this look but wonder if it's wise with my three dogs.

    Jars on pedestals are beautiful, but I agree - not with dogs, small children or clumsy husbands. Love your monkeys!

    I agree! Love the look...and I have pedestals in my Dining room but I'm afraid to put my precious, favorite ginger jars on them with my crazy cats and clumsy guests, lol.
