Tartan & Chinoiserie


This coming weekend is a great favorite of mine, the Scottish Walk Christmas Weekend in Alexandria, Virginia. My thoughts have turned to how much I love the combination of tartan and Chinoiserie as I focus on swathing my home and myself in tartan for the festivities.     One of my favorites, too. I lived in Old Town in the early 1990s and from 2010 to 2013.

    It looks like a lot of fun. Love the dogs dressed in it too. I want to visit Alexandria some day soon. Looks very quaint.

    WOW! The tartans are so GLORIOUS!! I love them, too and no one does them with more aplomb than Scot Meacham Wood! These pictures from the walk you mention are just outstanding. What a fun outing! Can't wait to see more pictures from this year. Thank you for sharing!!
