Chinoiserie in Manhattan

I was so taken by the mantel vignette by Elizabeth Bauer that I posted on yesterday that I wanted to see the rest of the home. Here it is, on East 79th Street in NYC. I especially love the wallpaper in the foyer above (look closely, is the foo dog lamp missing his head?). In the living room, I love the deep coral wall paint color, the banded sofa, gold elephant with a copy of I Married Adventure, the Bunny Williams brushstroke lamp, gold faux bamboo bar, foo dogs, abstract art, and blue and white Chinese porcelain. Check out the kitchen nook with the vintage Louis Vuitton as a cocktail table. The dining room is amazing with its deep coral walls, rope table, coral velvet rope chairs, mirrored wall, and sputnik chandelier. Such a great apartment by one of my favorite interior designers.

  1. Love the sure hand and the mix. I'm thinking CC's living room might look fab in the coral!
