The Pink Pagoda |
For those of you who followed the last One Room Challenge, my favorite in the final reveals was the ginger jars. Jennifer of The Pink Pagoda used this dramatic ginger jar above grouped with other blue and white Chinese porcelain on her breakfast table. Linda of Calling It Home placed a pair of these very same ginger jars in her entryway under the entryway table. I found a large pair of pale gray ginger jars for my very tiny powder room. Imagine these three spaces without the drama of the ginger jars.
This blue and white ginger jar used by The Pink Pagoda and Calling It Home is available in
The Pink Pagoda's online porcelain store. I think it is one of the prettiest I've seen, and I've seen a lot! You can find it
here. At 17" tall, it will make a dramatic statement anywhere you place it. I especially love the designs on the base and the lid and the deep cobalt blue against the white.
The Pink Pagoda has ginger jars ranging in size from 5.5" to 39." See them all below and details
here. I have a
Pinterest board devoted to ginger jars to give you inspiration on lots of ways to use them in your home. Ginger jars are the epitome of Chinoiserie and belong in the home of every lover of this style.
