Chili Pepper -
"This is a really deep coral, kind of like a cheerful Chinese red. Pinks and reds to me are synonymous with frozen drinks and relaxing." - Richard Mishaan from House Beautiful
Blazer -
"It's exciting and it has a historical reference: the Greek vases, the palace at Knossos, and all that business. I love red, always have, always will. Either you like steak or you like hamburgers." - David Easton from House Beautiful

It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Do you know of a good red for the light in the uk? Colors seem to react differently over here to how I see on people's wall in other countries...
ReplyDeleteI painted my (soon to be) library in SW-Chinese red and I love it. Two if the walls will be covered, salon style, with antique architectural prints and old family portraits. Chinese red is in my top three of favorite colors.
ReplyDeleteNo help here, I like the blue in red rather than orange. Just make sure YOU look good in the red the you choose. That's what's really important. Your office. You're looking great when you're in it.
ReplyDeleteLove Easton!
Chili Pepper gets my vote! Love reds/corals!!
ReplyDelete"Blazer" looks too muddy....not much life (at least on MY computer screen)
Pretty. We painted my sister's powder room a similar shade but just a bit darker. Makes it a fun surprise to go in the room. I need a white office as I have so many fabrics and colors everywhere. This is reminding me I should organize it. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThese are both great reds... that Meg Braff dining room is a favorite of mine! I cannot wait to see your new red office! :)
