Whether you spell them "foo dogs" or "fu dogs," you can't shake a Chinoiserie stick lately without hitting a blue foo dog. Whether new, vintage, or antique, they add a great pop of color anywhere. A pair deserve a spot in any Chinoiserie lover's home, so they are on my top ten list.
Foo Dogs are on my list Beth. I saw a pair at z Gallerie the other day...very reasonably priced!
ReplyDeleteI am featuring Designer and Paper Artist Anita Rivera on my site! She is amazing!

Thanks for these- I love Foo dogs! I consider my 4 Pomeranians my real life Foo dogs so they have a special meaning for me :)
ReplyDeleteI wish there was an easy way to save my fav Chinoiserie Chic pics to a sidebar right here -> I visit your site every day!
Love your blog for my daily shot of Chinoiserie, a style I've only recently gotten into myself (a natural progression from Hollywood Regency which I adore)...
ReplyDeleteI just finally gave in and purchased a set of foo dogs (ebay bargain - score!) but these pics are fabulous examples of how well that bright shot of turquoise lux fits into so many room schemes.
Lovely stuff! xxx
