Is it me, or has there been a marked silence on the part of many of those involved in the I'm a Giant Challenge? I can't figure out if people are secretly working away or secretly wishing it would all go away. At any rate, my Chinoiserie Chic dollhouse was done before Thanksgiving, and I am anxiously awaiting the 15th of December for my big reveal. I would describe my dollhouse as very Mary McDonald - glamorous, Hollwood Regency, with the Chinoiserie works - de Gournay, Chinoiserie wallpaper, faux bamboo, singerie, silks, pagodas, foo dogs, blue and white Chinese porcelain, black and gold lacquered furniture - my dream house. I'm debating whether to reveal the whole house on the 15th or make it into a series with a different room (there are 9) each day. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteyou know, was thinking the same thing. In fact, I was wondering if I somehow missed all the dollhouse reveals. Looking forward to it! Might as well stretch it out to a room a day.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Oiseau, one per day, with each room illustrated in minute detail, so we can enjoy every little thing. However, I think you should start now, and end on the 15th. I cannot wait any longer to see what you have done.
