The Chinoiserie Dressing Room- Mary McDonald
The walls are paneled in gray suede. The rear wall is draped with pleated charcoal faille to hide a door to nowhere. The lucite/acrylic Allan Knight vanity is inset with velvet. The mirror hangs from fabric covered chains. The crystal pagoda chandelier is covered in silver paper from Phillip Jeffries. The vintage couture gowns are from her personal collection. This is one of the rooms that inspired my dollhouse dressing room that you will be getting a peek of later this week. If you missed my two posts yesterday with two wonderful dressing rooms, be sure to check them out. Tomorrow you will see my now built dollhouse before the transformation begins.

Stunning! I love the lightness the lucite desk brings to this dramatic space. And of course the chinoiserie chandy is amazing!
