Meg Braff Wallpaper

There is no interior designer more adept at using Chinoiserie in a fresh, modern, and approachable way than Meg Braff. Here first collection of wallpaper is the essence of Chinoiserie-whimsical, witty, and wonderful, destined to become instant classics. Here are my favorites from the collection, especially the top paper in its four colorways, Up a Tree, that must find a place in my home. See it all here.

  1. I agree with your choice of a favorite ( I especially love the "old lady jade" colorway, but I do think she "chickened out" a bit on the facial features of the figures. You are much more in touch with what is au currant than I, what say you about showing the facial features of the figures?

Also, I'm so glad your april fool's was a joke. I love your blog. You have put more into your research and commitment to the subject than many grad students I've known. I hope some university somewhere has offered you an honorary design degree.

  4. Chinoiserie Cheep-Well, Chinoiserie figures in silhouette are much more modern and admittedly far more politically correct. I think this has been done beautifully and I agree with you on the colorway. I have received several emails on this wallpaper-quite lovely. Thanks for your kind words about my blog. It has been much more fun than law school was.
