My go-to frame for Chinoiserie works of art has long been gold bamboo. It is without question an elegant and natural choice. On One Kings Lane yesterday I spotted these Japanese woodblocks with gold fretwork frames. I think this fretwork molding makes a lovely new addition to my framing repetoire that I will be on the lookout for.
I hope to find this framing available soon! I have two new prints to frame and they would look so good in this pattern! I am keeping my eyes peeled!!! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhen I clicked on this post I was sure it would be gold bamboo (also my go-to chinoiserie frame). But these are GORGEOUS! Thanks for the post! I'm going to look for them.
