I am in love with this gorgeous paper mache over tin tray by Home, James! I've decided to order one and put it on a faux bamboo black and gold stand and turn it into a side table. This piece was featured in Elle Decor. It is hand painted in Thailand and signed by the artist. It is a lovely piece for serving or display as well. The tray measures 20 inches in diameter. P.S. Home, James! is on One Kings Lane tomorrow starting at 11 AM Eastern time.
I saw their booth at the New York Gift Show last week. Amazing stuff especially when you see it all together in one place. Chinoiserie heaven!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteI am speechless with delight! It is so beautiful! I can't believe I missed it in Elle Decor. I will go back through again to find it! Yours is a wonderful idea!

That is my idea of a perfect design!!! The link to their site from your blog isn't working, at least for the time being, but the same link has a problem on their website. When I went to the Home James site I found a thumbnail picture, but there were no dimensions. Do you know how big it is Beth?
ReplyDeleteI think that Home James! is doing a sale on One King's Lane this weekend?
ReplyDeleteThe design of the pavilion is based on one that existed in the garden at Laxenburg, near Vienna, in the late eighteenth century, where it was placed on a bridge.
ReplyDeletePemberley-Oh, how fun!
ReplyDeleteSharon-I ordered it.
ReplyDeleteVickie-I love it too.
ReplyDeleteKit-Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHarrison-The link is back up and it is 20 inches in diameter.
ReplyDeleteMeg-Hope you checked it out.
ReplyDeleteEmile-Yes, the Chinese Bridge.
