Here is a sneak peek at Thibaut's Shangri-La Collection which arrives in May. I am a huge fan of Thibaut fabric and wallcoverings for design, quality, and price, and this new offering is truly outstanding. With Greek key, ikat, suzani, damask, and Chinoiserie, this classic, sophisticated, and elegant new Asian inspired collection will send you to Shangri-La! The full colorways will be online in May as well.
I'm in heaven!! Can't wait!

I am so in love with this collection -- it's already bookmarked for future reference and I'm thinking about using that greek key in blue for curtains. Do you know what Thibaut's fabric typically runs per yard, Beth?
ReplyDeleteTHIS is simply stunning, thanks for the preview! gorgeous rooms!!

Looks just like luxe 70's and it's still pretty, or pretty again.
ReplyDeletea client just sent me one of these pics today for the wallpaper- wonder if she found it here?? :)
ReplyDeleteNice color and pattern combination's... very fresh looking...
ReplyDeleteAesthetic Oiseau-I thinks it's their best in years.
ReplyDeleteVickie-I can't wait to see all the colorways.
ReplyDeleteKarena-That was my favorite!
ReplyDeleteAverill-As I emailed you, it is very well priced, usually around $78.00 a yard full retail.
ReplyDeleteKit-Everyone is excited.
ReplyDeleteThis is the photo shoot done in my house this past January! The first two photos are actually the dining room; the aqua and coral guest room is actually the living room; the last photo is in one of the guest rooms (with all my silver vases and a b&w photo of my in-laws taken 50 years ago!); the photo with the loveseat is actually the center hall. It was just amazing to see these guys work! And they returned all my painted walls to good as new, too, and considering they are the original horsehair & plaster from 1858, they look wonderful! Except for the lamps, all the accessories are mine and that was the best part - searching around for just the right thing...I'd do it again in a heartbeat - what fun!!
ReplyDeleteSplenderosa-It is a timeless look that I love.
ReplyDeleteLauren-Probably, since it hasn't come out yet.
ReplyDeleteThe Countrypolitan-I can't wait to see the whole line.
ReplyDeleteSuSu-Oh how fun. I would have been tempted to keep all the wallpaper. I am fascinated by your Chinese Chippendale doors in the photo. Your house looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that screen drop-dead chic? However, it is NOT mine! And I wish it was but I already have three screens in use in the house and just could not justify buying another one. Of course, all the paper and furniture was removed and our home returned to its own look which is American furniture and English ceramics in a country house style with a strong Chinoiserie influence as well as painted Valley of Virginia primitives. The house itself (c. 1858 Greek Revival) is a dream and I still cannot believe I actually live here...I have the best husband in the world (because he agreed to move again after only 7 years in our prior home)!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for your kind comments!

SuSu-I always maintain that Chinoiserie works with any style decor. I would love to see photos of your country style home with Chinoiserie for a post or just for myself, whichever you prefer, if you ever get the chance.
