I think a great Chinoiserie piece works in any style home, but if you had asked about a rustic mountain lodge, I would have had my doubts. Leave it to Ralph Lauren. This piece, the Indian Cove Lodge End Table works beautifully here. In the new Indian Cove Lodge Collection, he was inspired by the beauty of the Great Adirondack Camps to produce this eclectic mix layering the rustic with chic accents of gilded luxury. To see the entire collection, click here. I also love the DIY idea of finding a faux bamboo piece and painting it gold. The gold embossed black leather top is another great idea.
Leave it to Ralph. This table is stunning and as you said, in about every design setting. I loved your DIY idea ~ well noted!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday to you xx
Deb-This is definitely going to be my next project.
ReplyDeleteI never knew mountain lodge could be chic -- but RL's new collection is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove the table. Love the screen, too. Being a big fan of leopard, I like the french chair with native-style pillow. In fact, the only thing that doesn't make my heart go zing is the pine. Just too notty!
ReplyDeleteThe Indian Cove Collection takes me right back to the days of visiting family friends in their Adirondack camp. Love you DIY project idea.
ReplyDeleteAverill-This is the closest you could get me to camping.
ReplyDeleteHome Before Dark-You are so right-love it all but the pine panelling.
ReplyDeleteCC-I'm going to a huge flea market this weekend, so I'll keep my eyes open for a piece.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things going on with this table: Asian influence, camp influence, and American Indian. Ralph Lauren is a genius. GENIUS.
ReplyDeleteFirst time on your blog! Must tell my friend AM about this...she loves all things Chinoiserie!
ReplyDeleteSanity Fair-Something for everyone.
ReplyDeleteCococozy-Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table! For the DIY....go for gold leaf...easy to apply, not expensive at all, and looks like a million bucks, all hand done and the color is rich....it would be perfect on a bamboo table like this from the resale shop...
ReplyDeleteIt's exquisite ! Thank you for posting about this wonderful table - I could look at it for hours. Good on ralph.
ReplyDeleteChic Provence-I will-I've used real gold leaf on pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteElise-I can't stop thinking about it-so gorgeous!
