This Chase Bench at Pottery Barn is on sale for $129.99. Its notched and scalloped aprons are quite reminiscent of Chinese Chippendale and its high gloss finish in blue, white, or gray is homage to Chinese lacquer. As shown here, it works well as a cocktail table or a bench at the end of a bed. It has gracious and elegant lines at such a great price.
Very pretty and simple - I especially like the watercolor blue.
ReplyDeleteGreat transtions for someone not a devout to the style. I'd repaint it a vibrant red, maybe even fuchsia.
ReplyDeleteAt that price there is no guilt.
SF-I like the blue too-it might look good in your bedroom.
ReplyDeleteThe gray is so beautiful! I could see it working in a number of situations~ Thanks for the tip on this great find!
ReplyDeleteAlicia-At this price, why not experiment? I love to decoupage and one would be a great base for a decoupage coffee table.
ReplyDeleteSarah-I think it has lovely lines and the price is great!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting this bench in gray for ages. At this price, it's probably worth going for even though I don't currently have a home for it (but I'm sure I'll find one in the new house, right?). :)
ReplyDeleteAveriil-Get it now. At this price it is a no-brainer.
ReplyDeleteMmm, I love both the blue and the gray. I can't decide!?
ReplyDeleteAbby-Both colors are great and the price is really great!
