Chinoiserie Nursery from Pixie Dust Decor
Would you like to create a nursery with Chinoiserie flair? You will not find anything more charming and chic than this Pagoda pattern at Stacy McCallum's Pixie Dust Decor. I originally discovered her wonderful business on my blogger friend Anne Harwell's lovely blog Annechovie. Her beautiful things have been featured in Domino Magazine, Style Court, and many others. Pixie Dust Decor was started by owner Stacy McCallum as a textile and children's decor studio to bring style minded parents enchanting decor for their child's special space. The fabrics are all delightful, but I was of course drawn to the pagoda design. Yes, that is my baby Isabella on her very own tuffet created by Stacy with her monogram embroidered on it. I'm not sure this is what Stacy had in mind, but isn't it perfect? Stacy has a lovely line of nursery decor and a custom studio to work with you on any bespoke items you would like made up such as window treatments or accessories to coordinate.

I just want that little dog! so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely post Beth. Miss Isabella looks quite content and very chic. Mission accomplished.
ReplyDeleteStefan-You can't have her! ;)
ReplyDeleteStacy-She loves it and so do I-thank you!
ReplyDeleteOne of the loveliest patterns for a nursery, especially the coral pink. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSande-The coral pink is of course my favorite, but you probably have guessed that!
ReplyDeleteDarling! This baby would be destined for good taste - and I remember seeing the Domino one a while ago and thinking it was just great. Thanks for bringing that back. Fabulous nurseries are the trend of the week!
ReplyDeleteSF-I love nurseries that are not over the top decadent like celebrity ones, but not junky looking either. These bridge the gap for me-chic and elegant, but not overdone.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the tuffet-turned-dog bed. Olivia definitely needs one!
ReplyDeleteBtw, this print looks so much like some wallpaper I had in my room as a kid (my mom and grandmother are both chinoserie lovers...I suppose that's where I got it). I need to dig up an old picture and see if I can find it now...it was fabulous.
Averill-Olivia needs her monogram on it as well-Isabella's registered name is Dancing Bear Isabella, so Stacy put her full monogram on it for me-too cute! You have to try to find an old photo of your wallpaper-I'd love to see it!
ReplyDeleteBeth, how adorable! Your Olivia looks so pleased with herself. Thanks so much for the mention, too. Isn't Stacy's stuff the best?
ReplyDeletePS, sorry I called her Olivia....I meant Isabella!
ReplyDeleteAnne-Stacy is very talented and lovely to work with-a great recommendation.
ReplyDeleteAnne-Olivia is Averill's (Odi et Amo) miniature dachshund. She needs one of these too!
ReplyDeleteBeth -- Tell that to my husband! He is, alas, decidedly against spending money on pet accessories (which is precisely why I just buy things without discussing them with him first). ;)
ReplyDeleteDon't ask, don't tell has always worked for me.
ReplyDeleteIsabella is adorable! My dogs have monogrammed beds too....don't all dogs of the world?!
ReplyDeleteAbby-I would hope so. ;)
