CC's Top Ten Chinoiserie Pieces #6

Today's pick #6 of my top ten Chinoiserie pieces is a work of art by the incredibly talented Harrison Howard. His Chinoiseries Collection exemplifies the best of Chinoiserie to me - whimsical, elegant, colorful, sophisticated, and beautiful. This is just a sampling of his work - find his entire gallery here. Harrison's original art and giclee prints are adored by interior designers and lovers of Chinoiserie, gracing beautiful homes the world over. They work perfectly in an entryway, dining room, living room, or bedroom. Their whimsy makes them a lovely choice for a nursery or child's bedroom.

  2. I first discovered Harrison Howard on your blog, and am the proud owner of "The Bibliophile". His work is fanciful, fun and beautiful. By the way, I picked up my giclee in person, and Harrison told me that he always frames his pieces in gold bamboo with a double matte, yellow on the inside, white on the outside.

  4. I have four and am just about to buy some more, mine are framed in gold bamboo and are similar to Harrison's approach.

I never stop looking and never stop loving them!

I wonder what the fellow in the red mandarin coat gets up to at night when we all go to bed.......
