Chinoiserie Chic Christmas - Miles Redd

I was very disappointed by the December issues of many of the shelter magazines with their lack of Christmas decorating inspiration. Many have gone from showcasing homes beautifully decked out for Christmas, to "holiday" decor, to barely a mention of the holiday season. So here is an oldie but goodie from Elle Decor December 2009.

  2. Beth I agree they are not showing much holiday and I am also sick of seeing aqua and brown all the time. I still mourn the closing of Southern Accents.
Love the Miles Redd rooms. Merry Christmas!

  5. Miles Redd is one of my favourite designers and has inspired my own decorating in many ways.

I'm so disappointed in the American shelter magazines this Christmas. Most of them don't even mention the C word (Christmas), let alone show any Christmas decorating. If you want a dose of beautiful holiday decorating, you'll have to subscribe to (or find on the newsstand) Canadian House and Home. It's chock full of homes beautifully decorated for Christmas. This year's December issue is definitely a keeper.
