My Dining Room Reveal

I have wanted for ages to have my dining room wallpapered in a fabulous Chinoiserie paper. Those of you who follow Chinoiserie Chic may remember that a while back a follower emailed me that an Etsy store had 15 rolls of Clarence House Chinoiserie Baroque wallpaper for $150 for all 15 rolls! I bought it and found a talented wallpaper hanger to install it for me who did an absolutely amazing job with this rather difficult untrimmed and unpasted wallpaper. My only other purchase was the beautiful pair of Chinoiserie hurricanes for the dining table. The only thing I have left to do is to cover the dining room chairs in Clarence House Dragon Empress pictured below that I already have in my fabric stash. The total price for this project came in at under $1000!!! I love it-hope you do too. Click photos to enlarge.

  1. Stunning! Absolutely stunning! Although I was a fan of the green before, this is in a different league. And I may have fallen in love with your chandelier a little bit more.

  11. AH-MAZING! What a steal for that great paper, it's such great quality and print! The Dragon Empress on the chairs will be gorgeous, from experience, it snags easily, so hopefully it's not for daily use? Maybe a nice cream wool bound carpet with a Greek key or lattice design on the edges too really ground the space? Great job!
