Theresa is right, you are killing us! What a fabulous job with this post. Wow...blows your mind. I have been craving Chinoiserie recently wishing I could introduce a wall paper into my home. It must be because of you!!
oh, always red for me -it just didn't work in my current place. My old apartment I used bright red contact paper to line my white kitchen cupboards which was so beautiful and also painted the inside of my closet red as well!
Stefan-Wow. I have been working on a post for Chinoiserie Chic on lacquering the backs of bookcases or insides of cabinets and armoires in coral pink or red.
The red & white toile wallpaper is a fav of mine, I just used it in my Red post. And I can't wait for the post about laquering. All the images are just scoop them up & devour them. Ironically much like the perconceived notion of the cuisine. An hour later I'm needing, wanting more!!!!

Dumbwit Tellher-So glad you are catching the bug! I'll do some posts on a wide range of Chinoiserie wallpaper choices.
Grant-Thanks. I'm going to do this as a regular Saturday post-the first was last week. Just let the wonderful images speak for themselves.
I just LOVE that red chinoiserie toile! I would love to move and have a dining room or kitchen to use it in.
Stefan sweetheart, pink and now red-this is wonderful!

Kitty-There are a couple of houses in Georgetown with huge foo dogs flanking the entrances that I just adore.
Really, is there anything more fab than a foo dog?!?

Kitty-No!
Allison-Thanks so much-I do think Chinoiserie is loved by so many people, and I have not seen another blog devoted to it. Thanks for your support!
