| Chelsea House Foo Dogs |
My first Chinese porcelain purchase many years ago was a beautiful pair of antique foo dogs that I still have and love. Foo dogs (actually Chinese guardian lions) symbolize powerful spiritual protection, prosperity, and authority. Traditionally displayed in pairs outside palaces, temples, and homes, they act as celestial sentinels to ward off negative energy and bad luck.

I love the Foo dogs. My late mother had a pair of Foo dogs, along with other beautiful blue and white porcelains, and I treasure them.
