But this candle snuffer (find it here) freaks me out. I swear the bunny looks terrified and very sad that he is about to be burned. Look at his face and eyes. Poor thing. I'm going to have to pass on this one - LOL. I couldn't bring myself to use him. They need to stick with fearless animals like leopards and lions, not helpless bunnies.
This weekend will be very cold here in Florida. But a little to the north in Tampa they are actually predicting snow and twenty degrees. A well known local weatherman said this is the first time in thirty years in Tampa he is predicting snow. Locals have never seen a snowflake. It might actually dip below thirty here in Venice on Sunday night. My only concern is my garden - tropical plants are not happy. I will actually be wearing a coat for the first time in years. Good I held on to my cold weather things. Stay warm and have a great weekend.
There was snow in Venice in the late 80s. Not a lot by any means, but a bit. My family all remembers it because it was just before Christmas. We came home one evening from my daughter's ballet performance in the Nutcracker at Venice Theater. My husband's truck was sitting in the driveway and there were little tiny piles of snow gathered in the corners of his windshield and there were snowflakes in the air. My kids were so excited!
