Oversized Printed Silk Bandana in Blue

I posted yesterday about a pretty blue and white chinoiserie dining room with blue and white paisley covered dining chairs. Paisley is a classic motif that pairs well with chinoiserie.

"Paisley" refers to both a town in Scotland and a distinctive, curved teardrop pattern. The pattern, originally from Persia and India, became popular in Europe, particularly in the 19th century, and is now associated with the Scottish town of Paisley. The pattern is commonly found in fabrics, shawls, ties, and bandanas.
