I came across this photo of a fabulous dog bed with a black and white Japanese Chin. Chins are quite rare in the United States and becoming far rarer as new CDC rules prevent the importation of puppies under 6 months of age. It took me a year to find Bea and she is from Canada (before the ban went into effect). Here is my little girl Beatrice all grown up. 

Her favorite spot is this blue and white gingham Ralph Lauren stool in the breakfast room. She is my little shadow and follows me everywhere. She loves this spot where she can watch me in the kitchen.

Here she is as a baby at 9 weeks old. But she is full grown now and only 5 pounds, so she will always be a baby.
