  6. I love that you included one of my favorite places - the tea pavilion at Sanssouci. I have a book or two about the palaces in Potsdam that you would LOVE -they all feature at least a room or two of haute chinoiserie -if not a tea pavilion such as this one at sanssouci. I remember going here while in high school and being blown away by this pavilion. I think every park in germany though contains a little pagoda or something! Crazy Germans!

  8. You outdid yourself with all these images. I have a black secretary just like the one you showed and it is one of my favorite pieces. Will look forward to a post on the Chinese Tea Pavillion, never heard of it so am now highly interested. Added this blog to blogroll which I had been meaning to do.
