The "Kohima Epitaph" is a famous war memorial inscription dedicated to the Allied soldiers who died fighting in World War II.
As we enjoy our holiday today, let's take time to reflect and thank all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to our country over these past 250 years.
So many have given so much for the freedom we enjoy. Let's make sure we all work to ensure our democracy continues. Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We must all do our part, not just during wartime, to make sure this great American experiment continues for future generations and doesn't end with us.
