| Marlowe Rattan Dollhouse |
You may recall that I recently posted about getting a new dollhouse. I narrowed it down the Pottery Barn Kids Chelsea Dollhouse.
After I ordered it, I was looking at dollhouse miniatures to furnish it and happened upon this rattan house.

So I cancelled the Chelsea House dollhouse order since it had not shipped while I decide what to do.
This is the back of the Marlowe - it has more of an open floor plan too.

I already have two other dollhouses, so I am just getting one. (I think - LOL). I am going to decide this weekend because I can't wait to start decorating it. The Olympics and the Super Bowl this weekend too - how fun.

i like the Chelsea because of the side windows!
ReplyDeleteI agree - it lets in more light, but it does make furniture placement and wallpapering more of a challenge.
DeleteI agree with Anchor Cottage on the windows. I also think that although I like the idea of the open floor plan, the Marlowe doesn’t work for me visually. It looks off.
ReplyDeleteThe ceiling heights are not in scale - a bit lower in the Marlowe. You have a good eye.
DeleteThey are both super cute. I guess it just gets down to personal preference.
ReplyDeleteWill you be hosting a Super Bowl party, or attending one? I seem to recall you saying you were a serious game watcher, while Super Bowl partiers were more engaged in partying, and not so much the game.
I made the mistake of going to one last year and regretted it. I will be home actually watching the game. And I hosted 35 people last night for my wine dinner - I am peopled out. LOL.
