Cabbage ware, also called lettuce ware, is highly collectible and has been for decades. Tory Burch has a wonderful collection she did in collaboration with Dodie Thayer's estate. Dodie was an American artisan and entrepreneur and her story is remarkable. Her ancestors helped settle Palm Beach where she taught herself how to mold pottery from lettuce and cabbage leaves.
Legendary hostesses from C.Z. Guest and the Duchess of Windsor to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis collected her signature lettuce/cabbage ware. Mario Buatta's collection sold at auction for $48,000.
Cabbage ware is very popular this season. It is the essence of Spring and is perfect for setting the Easter table.

In my quest to catch up on this past year's Oscar nominated films, last night I watched A Complete Unknown and I thought it was extraordinary. How it was completely shut out at the Academy Awards while Anora swept everything is crazy to me. See it if you'd like to be transported back to a time when everything seemed possible.
We saw A Complete Unknown when it first came out and loved it! Timothy Chalomette (?) was quite impressive, as was Edward Norton! I’ve read that Bob Dylan was pleased with the movie! Should’ve swept the Oscars!
