Red Roses for Valentine's Day

Williams Sonoma

For Valentine's Day, I love my home filled with red roses in blue and white ginger jars. Such a classic. Publix had roses on BOGO this week, so I decided to take advantage of this great deal.

To make sure your roses last, make a fresh cut in each stem at an angle under running water, remove any leaves that will be under water, and use floral preservative.

I love the smell of roses. And let's be real, most cut roses today have no smell or very little smell. Last year I posted on a wonderful candle called Red Roses that fills your home with the smell of roses. They have brought the candle back this year in a darling new container.

Heart Shaped Ceramic Red Roses Candle

It's $10 and will make your home smell fabulous. Free shipping with a $35 order - get a few before they sell out. I burned one yesterday and had my two dozen red roses from Publix in a large blue and white ginger jar and it was heaven! This candle has great throw and burns beautifully. It reminds me very much of the Diptyque Roses candle that sells for $70.
