Mailchimp, Monkeys, & Me

Amanda Lindroth

Those of you who subscribe to Chinoiserie Chic may have noticed some format differences in your daily email the last couple of days. Feedburner is no longer providing email subscriptions as of July 1, so I needed a new service. I chose Mailchimp. If you are already subscribed, you don't need to do a thing. You will continue to receive daily emails. If you are new to CC and would like to subscribe, there is a box in my sidebar you fill out.

Since I love monkeys and singerie, Mailchimp was a great fit - LOL. Monkeys and chinoiserie are such a classic pairing - depicted in wallpaper, porcelains, and decorative decor. Singerie refers to monkeys imitating human behavior like in the Amanda Lindroth room above.

Let's look at some monkeys at CCC.

If you have any subscription problems, I would just try checking your spam folder or re-subscribing, but so far, so good!

  10. I tried to post a photo of what I call my “rescue” zebra. I rescued him from Home Goods. 😊 Couldn’t get the photo posted.

    1. How large is he? I always look, but just find smaller leather ones.
