The Chinoiserie Fireplace

Bunny Williams

A wonderful idea for a non working fireplace or for the fireplace during the summer - a hand painted board depicting blue and white Chinese porcelain. I also love the petite chair piled with books and the pups of course.

This is a little chair I found and had recovered in stried blue velvet. The needlepoint pillow is a limited edition Lacoste for Jonathan Adler - perfect for Florida.

  1. I love a little chair. They are so handy to have in a room. And pretty as well.

    1. Yes, I tend to collect them and even have one from my daughter's nursery.

  2. This composition of Bunny William's is just inspirational and exquisite; the architecture of the fireplace, the colors, and the trompe l'oiel painted board is a stroke of genius. I find this space calming and uplifting at the same time. Thanks so much for sharing this, Beth.

  4. This fireplace screen thingy is a fabulous idea! I can't wait to try it - I'd have to find someone to do it, since I'm useless, but what a great idea! Thanks ever so much!
