I'm Safe

I'm Home

I so appreciate all the emails, texts, phone calls, and comments. I am safe in my new home with all of my belongings and most importantly, my pups. The movers just left. Today was horrible, but I ended up with three wonderfully helpful police officers and me taking complete and total charge of my situation. I am proud of myself.

I will fill in the details later after I decompress for a while - including a run to Publix for sushi and the nicest bottle of Champagne I can find. And I will say a silent toast to all of you for all your encouraging, supportive, wise, and extremely helpful comments. Thank you all so much for helping me get through this terrible ordeal. My painters stopped by to check on me as have half a dozen new neighbors today. So nice.

  5. THANK GOD! I have not stopped thinking about, praying for you. God is good!

If you don't have an alarm system on your house may I suggest priority #1?

Priority #2: Don't forget restraining order. After all, he didn't have his last "Say" as someone put it.

I'm soo relieved today went well, but don't think it's over just yet. Do things to protect yourself.
Can't wait to hear all about it!!!

Thank you for taking the time out of your very stressful, long day to let all of us know...

  11. Praise God. ThankYouThankYouThankYou for letting us hear from you at the end of this long, horrendous day. I couldn't be happier or more relieved. You were right when you said many of us sound like we've lived through this same nightmare, indeed we have. It's difficult to talk about until we see someone else going through it, and that's how we all came out fighting so hard for you! With admiration and affection from your fan in North Florida.

  30. Tandoori!!! Tandoori!!! Tandoori!!! So glad this day is over and you and the pups are safe in your CC casa.A special thank you to the good guys of your local police who helped you move past this hideous situation. And another "danka" to your talented and caring painters who painted care and concern into every inch of your now beautiful just for you home. Enjoy your sushi and champagne. I'm not a drinker of wine wines, but I did decant a lovely red to toast a strong woman who has clawed her way out of hell. To new days and new adventures!
