Chinoiserie Wallpaper

Anewall at Anthroplogie

Is anyone familiar with Anewall? This wallpaper is by two sisters in Canada. It's available at Anthropologie here.

Anewall is the work of two sisters from Vancouver. They design vibrant wallpaper and wall art inspired by their love for the French countryside and all things vintage.

It reminds me a bit of this wallpaper I posted about a few years back. The wallpaper is salvaged 18th century hand painted that was found at auction and pasted into a collage. (The trundle bed was their daughter's in their former East Village apartment).

  1. The wallpaper in the room done by David Kaihoi is to-die-for. Just gorgeous.

  2. I love it! I'd love to have hand painted chinoiserie wallpaper and the home that goes with it. Sometimes I come across pictures of a beautiful old home with so much hand painted wallpaper that they can hang pictures over it. Just the kind of layered old-school luxury I enjoy.
