I love beautifully wrapped gifts. Every year I search for great gift wrap for all my Christmas gift giving. This year's is really amazing. I am a HUGE fan of Caspari. I think their design store in Charlottesville is my favorite store anywhere. If I had a store, that is what it would be like.

Their new Wild Christmas line this year is too good. So Chinoiserie Chic with its elephants, zebras, and leopards! Wild Christmas comes in gift wrap, tissue, gift bags, wine bags, gift tags, and gift enclosures.

Great tip - for my husband, who is not, shall I say, skilled at wrapping gifts, I buy the matching gift bags and tissue so he can easily wrap his gifts to us.

It is also available in plates, napkins, invitations, guest towels, place cards, even Christmas crackers if you really want to go wild. See it all here.

I am pairing their Wild Christmas gift wrap with black and white ribbon and trim in stripes, polka dots, and Greek key.

The Pink Pagoda is having her third Blue and White Bash Linking Party this Monday, December 2ND. Blue and white posts with a holiday theme are encouraged. I am putting together a special post on a Blue and White Chinoiserie Christmas. Jennifer (The Pink Pagoda) will be sharing how she incorporates blue and white in her own holiday decor in her home. Hope to see you there. Have you seen The Pink Pagoda's new logo? Isn't it stunning?

Black Friday

The Departure by Harrison Howard - setting off on Black Friday?
In lieu of fighting the angry mobs at the malls, sit back in the comfort of your own home and shop online today and this weekend with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. Many of my sponsors are offering great deals and you'll be supporting these wonderful businesses as well as Chinoiserie Chic.

The Pink Pagoda is offering 20% off on prints in her Etsy store starting today through December 8TH with code HOLIDAY201320OFF with a $45 minimum purchase. Read the shop announcement for further details. I love this pair of pink pagoda giclees -

Kerry Steele is offering 15% off at shop.kerrysteele.com from 9:30 AM this morning through Monday with code THXSALE15. I would love to own this canvas entitled "Of Butterflies and Late Afternoon."

If you have yet to try JAMIESHOP.COM, this weekend is the time to do so. One of the country's top interior designers, Jamie Herzlinger has an online buying service giving you access to luxury "to the trade only" manufacturers at designer wholesale prices. This Friday through Monday with code CYBER2013, take 10% off their service. A perfect way to spruce up your home for the holidays.

Charlotte & Ivy is offering a $100 Charlotte & Ivy gift card with any purchase over $1,000 now through December 2ND on their website. See the website for full details. I would adore a set of their signature Custom Chinese Chippendale Chairs where I am the designer.

AnthologyHouse is having a 20% off one day sale today in their Etsy shop with code FIGGYPUDDING. This pair of Chinoiserie figurines would look great in my house.

Marquin Designs is offering 20% off on jewelry with code christmasjewelry and 10% off on art with code christmasart on her online store on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I would like Santa to bring me one of her antler paintings. If you would like to meet Marquin in person, she will be at 1818 Augusta Street, Suite 112, Greenville, South Carolina 29605 this Saturday from noon to 5 PM.

Now go pour yourself a cup of coffee, sit back, and shop these great deals.

Tartan is so delicious in a home, especially in the winter, so cozy and classic. Alexandria, Virginia, where I live, has a strong Scottish heritage and is Scottish mad this time of year with our famous Scottish Walk weekend just around the corner.

What you might not have thought about is the amazing combination of tartan and Chinoiserie for the holidays and beyond. I especially love blue and white Chinese porcelain and Greek key with tartan. Here is inspiration and I also have Pinterest boards on Tartan and Chinoiserie and Tartan.

AnthologyHouse was featured yesterday on Chairish's blog and website on beautifying the bar cart. Congratulations girls! AnthologyHouse now has a storefront on Chairish in addition to their Etsy store. Check it out here. These are some of my favorite pieces currently in their inventory. They have a gorgeous collection of vintage merchandise to glam up your home for the holidays, most notably the bar cart.
