I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas

And George
Pink has always been my favorite color. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a pink bedroom with a canopy bed. Growing up in a mid century modern home, what I got was white walls, teak and rosewood Danish modern furniture, black leather, and a red wool daybed. I do not have any of those anywhere in my home today and I still adore pink. And I have not one, but two canopy beds. Since I love the combination of pink and green, this is my choice at Christmas over red and green. Here is some pink holiday inspiration.

  1. We had a very similar house growing up. I now can't live without my canopy bed! I can sooooo relate....

  3. I say go girl and I'm glad you decorate your home with passion, humor and the color that makes you happy.

ps My mother had teak furniture and her colors were orange, turquoise and brown. Those colors will never cross my threshold. In high school I decorate my room yes, pink and green. Happy Holidays!

  6. Great minds think alike. We are doing a heavily pink-influenced Christmas at Darlington this year! Boy decorated the tree this weekend, and he used every one of our pink vintage ornaments (collected over the years) on it. It's very pretty! Reggie
