The Chinoiserie Daybed

David Hicks La Florentina
We are now halfway through our series on Chinoiserie and Color. I need to take a little rest on one of these daybeds. Have you noticed how many interior designers are using daybeds not just in bedrooms, but in living rooms as sofas? I thought it would be fun to do a round up of Chinoiserie versions. Next up in our color series will be pink, blue, yellow, and green.

  3. OMG...my heart is palpitating! Well, if you are going to do chinoiserie, I think Michelle Nussbaumer knows how to do it. LOVE those tall pagoda roofs. Chippendale is the standard for it all though. The Vanity Fair piece is a nice scale as well. Love the green color too!
