Latest Thrift Store Find


I have no idea why these Caucasian grandparents are dressed as Chinese fishermen, but quite a charming pair for my blue and white Pagoda Bedroom. (Click photo to enlarge.)

  4. They are a testament to why one should always check out thrift stores -- for it is possible to unearth treasures in them from time to time. I once found half a dozen Chinese export saucers, ca. 1800, in a Good Will for only 50 cents a piece, possibly my best find in one, ever!
