A New Series-Setting the Chinoiserie Table

Today we begin a new series on setting the Chinoiserie table. For a formal dinner or for a special touch to any dinner, a place card, on its own or with a place card holder, is such an elegant addition. Above, a Chinoiserie table by Charlotte Moss with silverplated fortune cookie place card holders.

  3. Interesting to see that pagoda-on-a-bridge motif - it seems to have been borrowed from a print of the garden of one of the Habsburg palaces in Laxenburg, near Vienna.
