Framed Chinoiserie Wall Panels in Rooms

We have been looking this week at beautiful examples of framed Chinoiserie wallpaper panels, antique, vintage, and new. Today we take a look at how to use them in rooms to create a wonderful focal point. Before leaving this mini series, we will give ideas in a post next week on budget DIY versions as well. 1. The apple green, Ruthie Sommers is my favorite. I love how modern it looks with the bold white lamps against the framed panels.

  2. The range of your examples is amazing. And interesting how Chinese wallpaper can work in a modern interior as well as in a traditional one.

  4. I framed panels similar to the ones in your first image last year for a client. The couple inherited a house from thir grandmother and found them rolled up in a closet!!

  5. I love the one from Neo Silk Road very much. It is amazing how precious (sometimes they ARE!) these "pieces of wallpaper" look in a frame. It is all a matter of design and inspiration and I suppose that even "cheap" ones could be enriched with a perfect placement and framing.
I love these posts very much!
