A Touch of Red

When you think of Chinoiserie, the color red probably registers in your mind's eye. We have posted before many examples of wonderful red Chinoiserie rooms where red is the predominant color, but just a dose of red will really pop in a room and give it great Chinoiserie flair. The first three photos are by Alessandra Branca who loves using red as an accent color.

Red Chinoiserie accessories-think lampshades, pillows, vases, or even trim.

  6. Scrumptious!!! My favorite red chinoiserie is actually a vintage jacket from Hong Kong I pounced on & claimed mine forver ago. The true red, frogs & charcaters of the silk were to die for but when I realized it was reversable to black...yummmmmmmm....
    Have a lovely weekend.
