This stunning Manhattan pied-a-terre of Chicago interior designer Alessandra Branca was featured in the May Elle Decor. I love the elegant palette of red, black and beige. Alessandra says that "Black gives rooms depth, and a shot of red is the kick you need in life." Chinoiserie abounds, including the 1940s red lacquer cocktail table, the parrot tulips, the antique screen, the 19th century armoire, the English Regency chair, the black lacquer table, the porcelains, and the botanicals above the custom banquette. For a very well done in depth look at this apartment, please visit the post done by Joni Webb of Cote de Texas.
